The Pool Project Week Eight

Week Eight. Whatever that bull was I said about it being cold last week was bunk. That was a dang tropical paradise compared to this week. This is the sort of cold that grabs ahold of your gut and tugs on it until you upchuck the french toast your wife cooked for breakfast even though it was white french toast not wheat french toast like you like, and we didn't have any strawberries or powdered sugar to sprinkle on top. Anyway, the pool had a nice, thick 1.5 inch crust of ice on it most of the week. I was a little worried about what i was going to do with that. Diving into a big chunk of ice could be a little hard on the old coconut. I tried to keep it broken up, but it didn't take long to refreze. . In the end, the weather turned nice on Saturday and Sunday and most of the ice melted off. I figure the water temp won't fall much below 40 degrees. What'll kill me from here on out is the outside temp.
